ON A FINE DAY
Falmouth, England

Sunshine was a rare pleasure during our stay in Falmouth. We enjoyed it when it came, walking around the coast. The beaches were deserted and the hotels were beginning to close for the winter.

GETTING ABOARD
Falmouth, England

The dinghy gets us ashore from our mooring. We have a 3hp outboard motor that pushes us along at a gentle rate. When we go sailing we generally drag the rubber boat up on deck. We have been trying our luck fishing; towing the dinghy behind gets in the way of our lines. On longer passages we deflate it and stow ite below.

We caught a few fish, makerel and pollock, which we ate, but on the whole our results have been rather disappointing. We will keep trying.

PLANTPOT
Falmouth, England

Some locals are very serious about recycling and find new uses for old household objects.
